Studio Foundations (4 weeks)

Four Thursdays: October 15, 22, 29 and November 5.

Studio time with a teacher nearby. Students work in drawing, painting, or mixed media at their own pace and build up a body of work instead of finishing a different project every week.

Each session opens with a short demonstration or mini lesson, and the rest of the time is theirs. The instructor moves around the room, giving feedback one student at a time on technique, color, and composition.

Best for students who like working on their own and want their skills to catch up with their ideas. Ages 11 to 14. Materials included.
