Art classes for kids
Small groups, real materials, and a studio where children are trusted to make something of their own. Our youngest artists work in painting, drawing, ceramics, and the culinary studio, building genuine skill alongside the confidence to use it.

Real materials, real technique
Kids work with the same clay, paint, and tools our older students use. Nothing is watered down. It is scaled to what a five to ten year old can handle, with an instructor close by.
Six to twelve per class
Small enough that Donna and her instructors know every child by name, and know what each one is working toward.
Something to take home
Every session ends with work that is theirs. Ceramics come back from the kiln in one to two weeks, ready to collect.
Work that goes home
Real pieces made by children in our classes. Ceramics come back from the kiln in one to two weeks.

Upcoming classes for ages 5–10

About this Program

4 weeks September 15,22,29th Oct 6th
Let us introduce your child to the building blocks of culinary and visual arts in this engaging four-week class designed especially for young creatives. Each week focuses on a different creative discipline—cooking, clay, painting, and drawing—giving children the opportunity to develop foundational techniques through hands-on exploration.
Students will learn basic kitchen safety, measuring, mixing, and simple food preparation while creating delicious recipes they can be proud of. In our ceramic's studio, they will build confidence with essential skills such as hand-building with clay, and in the art studio, color mixing, brush techniques, observation, line, shape, texture, and composition through painting and drawing projects.
This class encourages creativity, problem-solving, fine motor development, and self-expression in a supportive, process-focused environment. By exploring a variety of materials and techniques, children will gain a strong creative foundation while having fun making art and food to share and enjoy.
