Art classes for kids

Four Tuesdays: October 13, 20, 27 and November 3.

A little of everything, one week at a time. Children cook, work with clay, paint, and draw, so by the end they have tried every corner of the studio and usually found the one they love.

In the kitchen they measure, mix, and cook something to bring home. In the ceramics studio they build with clay by hand. In the art room they mix color, learn how to handle a brush, and work on line, shape, and composition.

Real materials, real tools, and a small group. Ages 8 to 10. Everything is included.

Early Release Spooktacular Workshop 5-7year olds and 8-10 year olds 1-3pm 

Culinary - Pumpkin Pretzels! Decorate your pretzels to look like pumpkins..with chocolate and sprinkles too...talk about trick or treating.so much fun and delicious too.

Crafting- Create your very own collection of Halloween Bag Charms- From glittery ghosts, spooky pumpkins, skulls, adorable monsters and a great deal of glamtastic sparkle! there is something for everyone!

All supplies included, so bring your imagination and get ready to create! Mix ,Match and personalize your charms!

Our Birthday Party reservation in our culinary studio for 10 or less participants: 

Each additional participant is $45.00

This is a 2 hour event for 10 participants - 

Event includes 1 Professional Instructor

Personalized Aprons to decorate

1.5 hours in the culinary studio

1/2 hour in party room for refreshments. ( Refreshments: You're welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and refreshments to enjoy during your event. (nut free please)The booking party is responsible for providing all refreshments and paper goods.

Clean up is included.

Up to 10 participants, 2 hours in the clay studio. 

For children/teens.

• Axolotl. Build your own clay axolotl and paint it whatever colors you like. Home the same day.
• Ice cream. Build an ice cream box, cover it in sprinkles, and paint it mint chocolate chip or your own favorite flavor. Home the same day.
• Dragon. Sculpt a dragon with scales and fire, then paint it in sparkly metallics. Home the same day.
• Paint your own pottery. Monster canisters, always a hit. Ready for pickup a week later.
• You are welcome to bring refreshments-This reservation includes the party room 1/2 hour. Please remember paper goods and utensils. Tables will covered.

Our youngest makers spend a week in each part of the studio. They bake, they build with clay, they paint, and they draw, and they go home with something of their own every single week.

In the kitchen they measure, stir, and learn their way around real tools. In ceramics they roll, pinch, and press clay into shape. In the art room they find out what happens when two colors meet, and how to make a brush do what they want.

Small hands, real materials, and a good amount of mess. Ages 5 to 7. Everything is included.

4 hour workshop

Junk journaling is a favorite art form of ours - We use everyday art materials and create one of kind unique handmade journals.  Students are encouraged to use magazine pages, wrapping paper, receipts, tags, stickers, book pages, fabric scraps, ribbons, and other recycled materials to create layered, colorful pages as they personalized their journal with art, doodles, pockets, collage pieces, writing, and little treasures that reflect their interests.

All supplies included- If you are inclined to bring in personal items to include, please feel free-If you are able-Please bring your Favorite Junk Food -chips, popcorn, candy, or treat to share and enjoy during the workshop. (nut free please) 

This studio workshop focuses on exploration, bookmaking, colorful layering, and each student's creative mixed media artistic voice. Student's will build a journal that feels like a personal treasure book, using favorite colors, fun textures, stickers, drawings and more
