Our drawing and painting classes are focused on teaching students the basic techniques of creating art using a variety of mediums, such as pencils, charcoal, and paint. Students in these classes have the opportunity to learn about elements of art, such as line, shape, color, and texture, and principles of design, such as composition and perspective. We also present opportunities to learn about the different styles and methods used in drawing and painting, and they have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of media and techniques. In our drawing and painting classes, students may work on individual projects ideas and work on growth studio pieces throughout the month.
