In this hands-on kitchen adventure, young chefs explore the science and art of baking by making their balloon breads and fresh butter.
Students discover how ingredients transform when heat, movement, and measurement come together. They will see dough rise like a science experiment, and learn how steam helps bread bake soft and light. They’ll measure, and mix while practicing real STEM skills—prediction, experimentation, problem-solving, and observation.
Next, they’ll learn to transform cream into delicious homemade butter, learning how motion and temperature change liquids into solids. We finish with warm bread, fresh butter, and big smiles.
