In our 4 day clay workshop February 17, 18, 19, 20th from 2-4p.m.-students explore three-dimensional art by sculpting original characters and props using clay. Children learn how ideas become solid forms as they pinch, roll, build, and attach clay to create sculptures that stand, balance, and express personality.
The workshop emphasizes core 3D concepts such as form, structure, texture, and proportion. Students are encouraged to view their sculptures from all sides and make thoughtful choices about posture, facial expression, and detail. Simple clay props and objects are added to support imaginative storytelling.
Guided prompts invite students to consider who their character is, how they move, and what world they belong to—using sculpture as a tool for creative expression and problem-solving.
